Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an STA (Static Timing Analysis) Engineer based in Bengaluru. The STA Engineer will be responsible for performing static timing analysis and sign-off for digital design. Key responsibilities include executing pre- and post-layout timing analysis, validating constraints, optimizing design timing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing timing closure support for RTL-to-GDSII flows. The role requires working closely with the design team to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while maintaining compliance with timing specification requirements.


Qualifications

Experience 4+ years

  • Expertise in Static Timing Analysis (STA) methodologies, constraint generation, and timing closure
  • Experience with EDA tools such as PrimeTime, Tempus, or similar tools
  • Understanding of digital design fundamentals, including Flip-flops, Buffers, Clock domains, and architectural constraints
  • Exposure to VLSI design flows, RTL-to-GDSII processes, and backend verification
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, or Python for automation and debugging
  • Good knowledge of semiconductor design standards and practices; experience with large-scale designs is advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Additional experience in Post Silicon support and RF considerations is a plus
