Reporting to the Sr Manager IB Sales & Service the Sr. Service Engineer - Kochi is responsible for frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting, drive service revenue sales targets while ensuring strong customer contract retention rate and warranty conversion rate. In this role, you will utilize critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures and practices to resolve appropriate action to and will be located in Kochi and hybrid work model.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Attend and resolve customer equipment breakdowns within the assigned region
• Install, commission, and maintain Videojet equipment at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance as per defined schedules
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective corrective actions
• Raise spare part requests and close service transactions under warranty, CAMP, or chargeable services
• Promote service contracts and consumables to customers
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide operator-level customer training
• Prepare and update service reports in Oracle
• Identify potential spare parts and equipment requirements, submit quotations, and collect purchase orders
• Generate service leads for the sales team related to equipment upgrades or replacements
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Engineering degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field service or technical service roles
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and customer-handling skills
• Familiarity with the local language
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
