Role Description The Sr. Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives for Mechmatrix’s CNC machining solutions and EasyMech product range, driving revenue growth and market expansion. This full-time, on-site role based in Nasik involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building long-term relationships with manufacturing and CNC machining customers across India. The Sr. Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and collaborate closely with technical and application engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting and tracking sales targets, overseeing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and providing regular performance reports to leadership. The role also includes mentoring and guiding the sales team, ensuring consistent customer service and alignment with Mechmatrix’s vision of improving machining processes and manufacturing profitability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong B2B sales, business development, and account management skills within manufacturing, CNC machining, or industrial products.
- Candidates should possess skills in sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and target-driven performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess skills in negotiation, contract management, and pricing discussions with diverse customer stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills for engaging decision-makers and technical teams.
- Candidates should possess team leadership, coaching, and performance management skills to guide and support sales professionals.
- Candidates should possess basic technical understanding of CNC machining, tooling, and industrial equipment to interpret customer needs and coordinate with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent management qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in senior sales roles, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or CNC-related sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in Nasik, travel to customer locations as needed, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
