Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer who is passionate about building robust backend systems and scalable APIs to support enterprise-grade fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
  • Build, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.
  • Implement efficient database models and queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
  • Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and optimization in the AWS environment.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and scalability across services.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams — Product, Frontend, and QA — to deliver high-quality slutions.
  • Contribute to the design of microservices architecture and backend workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and caching mechanisms.
  • Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based version control.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail and performance.

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

  • Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery).
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML model integration in production.
  • Experience in FinTech or Banking domain is a plus.
