About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. FP&A Partner – Real Estate to join the Tailored Brands Store Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role you will serve as a senior individual contributor and strategic partner, reporting directly to the VP of FP&A. This position is responsible for leading Real Estate proforma development, driving New Store and Store investment ROI analysis and reporting, and owning expense management across an assigned scope. This individual will work cross-functionally with Real Estate, Store Operations, Construction, Legal, Corporate Finance and Field leaders to elevate and manage the store footprint through pivotal initiatives.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Own the development of Real Estate proformas, including financial modeling for new stores, lease renewals/expirations, remodels, and other capital investment decisions across North America.
  • Lead New Store ROI analysis and reporting, tracking performance against underwritten projections and providing actionable insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Lead Store investment ROI analysis and reporting for refreshes, renovations, and relocations, tracking performance against underwritten projections and surfacing insights to drive investment decisions.
  • Serve as the primary owner of expense management within the Tailored Brands Call Center, partnering with stakeholders to monitor, analyze, and report on spend with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate, Store Operations, Construction, Legal, and Field leaders to build and present investment recommendations and business cases to the VP of FP&A and executive leadership.
  • Drive and lead ad-hoc strategic projects including hind sighting, cannibalization analysis, sales forecasting, long range planning, and process improvements; partner with the Real Estate Operations team in support of fleet review initiatives.
  • Own the financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the call center, serving as the primary FP&A point of contact for budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in Real Estate Finance, FP&A, or a related field required, preferably with a retail industry background.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and scenario planning, with a strong focus on real estate underwriting.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to automate manual processes and reporting.
  • Understanding of financial modeling such as IRR, NPV and payback analysis
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments to gather data and feedback on business initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of creating executive level leadership presentations that effectively communicate company strategies.
  • Experience working in a results-driven, solution-oriented, and fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Hyperion Essbase experience preferred.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $92,810– $145,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $193,294. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
