Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager– Innovation Facility

Company: IHFC (I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics), Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi

I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi, was set up in June 2020 under the Department of Science & Technology’s NM-ICPS mission. Bringing together academia, government, and industry.

Role:

Candidate will be handling development and scaling up of Innovation facilities like Co-Innovations and Medical Cobotics Centers all across India and bridge the gap between Research and Industries. Will work towards development of Deep-tech culture in all these innovation facilities and ecosystem.

Location: IIT Delhi Campus, Hauz Khas, New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:

• CIC Management: Oversee 10-15 centres across India; ensure performance, conduct visits, and organize workshops and events.
• READY Program: Onboarding eligible students /applicants towards “Idea to Prototype”. Design n run innovative programs to upgrade their skillset to Manage product lifecycle. Regular evaluation mechanism and handholding with IHFC objectives. Connect relevant Industry with READY outcome and prepare a way for success for both of them. 
• Campus Engagement: Drive robotics initiatives, competitions, and student/faculty collaborations of IIT Delhi and other institutions.
• Industry Partnerships: Enable new partnerships and work towards Managing existing partnerships (e.g., MathWorks, Tata Consultancy Services); organize joint events and research collaborations. 

Professional Skills:

• Proposal writing and documentation. 
• MS Office (Excel /Power point) and other AI tool hands on.
• Understanding of startup ecosystems. Setting up innovative labs.
• Handling Academia/Industry and Govt entities together
• Exposure to latest technologies like AI/ ML, Imaging, Drones, Robotics, Sensors in areas of Industry/Medical and Agriculture.

• A positive/ creative and innovative mindset.
• Good inter personnel communication & negotiation.
• Perform in challenging and dynamic environment. 
• Multiple tasks handling with Techno commercial acumen.

Experience: 

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in comparable roles is required. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility for extensive travel and possess their own vehicle.

Desired work experience:

Experience in Translational Research TRL > 4

Startup incubation programs

Participation in any nation building program.

Conducting Technology events and workshop of various types.

Educational Qualification:

A Graduate, preferably with Engineering /Science / Bio tech etc.
