Job Description

A fast-growing organisation in the EdTech SaaS sector delivering learning platforms, assessments, and enterprise upskilling solutions to educational institutions and corporate L&D teams across India. We drive measurable learner outcomes through technology-enabled content, analytics, and scalable implementation services. This on-site role requires a revenue-focused senior business development professional to accelerate enterprise adoption and close strategic partnerships.

Primary title: Senior Business Development Manager - EdTech

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for institutional and enterprise accounts: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate and close high-value contracts.
  • Build and manage a predictable pipeline in CRM; prioritise opportunities to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop tailored proposals, commercial models and RFP responses; align product, content and implementation teams to client needs.
  • Lead discovery and solution-selling conversations with C-level, HR and L&D stakeholders; design pilots and PoCs to prove value.
  • Represent the company at industry events, university partnerships and customer meetings to generate strategic leads and alliances.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and sales reports; iterate playbooks and sales collateral to reduce cycle time and improve conversion.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

  • Proven track record in enterprise SaaS or EdTech sales with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience owning full sales cycles and closing institutional or enterprise deals
  • Expertise in consultative and solution selling with senior stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales engagement workflows
  • Commercial acumen in pricing, proposal development and contract negotiation
  • Comfortable working on-site across India with client travel as required

Preferred

  • Experience with LMS, assessment platforms or content licensing models
  • Familiarity with tender/RFP processes and enterprise procurement cycles
  • Exposure to analytics-driven sales forecasting and reporting tools
