Position Overview

Lead complex and large-scale technology initiatives with broad organizational impact, driving best practices and engineering standards in software development. Design, develop, and optimize full-stack applications and microservices, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. Act as a technical leader, mentoring teams, resolving critical technical challenges, and collaborating with key experts to influence strategy and innovation. Navigate enterprise architecture, incident/problem management, and technology delivery, ensuring efficiency in Agile workflows.

The Senior Business Analyst will partner with business and technology teams to translate business objectives into actionable technology solutions. This role involves mapping current and future processes, defining target operating models, and collaborating with product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver large-scale transformation. Strong stakeholder management, requirements engineering, and agile experience are essential

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Analysis
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business ideas and translate it into actionable tech projects & initiatives.
  • Document current processes, design future processes, and ensure alignment with target operating models for large-scale programs.
  • Process Re-engineering & Transformation
  • Drive end-to-end process optimization and re-engineering across multiple business units.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate & make an assist in making informed decision at executive levels and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Solution Design & Governance
  • Oversee solution design to ensure alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture.
  • Establish a governance framework for requirements management and delivery assurance.
  • Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure timely execution of projects with a strong focus on quality and urgency.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts across programs.
  • Enterprise Thinking
  • Evaluate cross-functional impacts and ensure solutions align with organizational strategy.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 12 + years of experience in business analysis, process re-engineering, and technology enablement within financial services; CMBS experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programs and implementing target operating models.
  • Expertise in SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Advanced proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and process modelling platforms
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex change.
  • Strategic Thinking: Align solutions with long-term business objectives.
  • Design Mindset: Conceptualize and implement enterprise-level process designs.
  • Influencing Skills: Drive consensus among senior stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Deliver innovative solutions for complex business challenges

Desired Qualification

  • Ability to understand business processes and existing technology platforms to drive change.
  • Quick learner with the ability to connect dots and provide cohesive, scalable solutions.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, SQL, and API integrations.
