Job Description

We are one of 6 Children’s Therapy teams working across Lancashire and are committed to improving the communication skills of children and young people while supporting carers and other professionals to increase their ability to understand and support children with communication needs.
We work closely with families and with colleagues in health, education and social care and you will have excellent communication skills to support these relationships.
You will manage your own time and caseload effectively and also support assistant practitioners in managing a delegated caseload.
We are committed to promoting professional development in all staff and you will be enthusiastic about developing your leadership skills in service innovation and supervision of junior therapists and assistants.
You will demonstrate a proactive approach to your own clinical and professional development and will have a sound understanding of evidence based practice.
You will have good presentation skills and enjoy sharing your skills through training and coaching.
