Specialist IT - Windchill Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer specializing in Windchill to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain customizations, integrations utilizing Windchill. The Java developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Windchill applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain Windchill customizations, including Java-based applications, workflows, and scripts.
• Integrate Windchill with other systems, such as SAP and CRM systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill-related issues, including performance, data integrity, and security.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill customizations and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans and scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with new Windchill releases, features, and best practices.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Windchill development, with a strong understanding of Windchill architecture, data model, and APIs.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Windchill customization, including workflows, scripts, and custom applications.
• Strong understanding of PLM concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
