Job Description

  • Analyze and resolve complex application or system issues by understanding functional workflows, system constraints, performance considerations, and integration touchpoints.
  • Review existing procedures and recommend improvements to ensure stability, scalability, reliability, and efficient application operation.
  • Perform application support activities including incident triaging, root-cause analysis, bug isolation, log investigation, performance tuning, and coordinating with development teams for permanent fixes.
  • Handle complex operational scenarios requiring advanced troubleshooting techniques across application, database, API, cloud, and infrastructure layers.
  • Act as a technical guide and mentor for junior team members by offering direction, best practices, and knowledge transfer.
  • Evaluate proposed system enhancements or workflow changes and provide operational feasibility and impact assessments.
  • Support multi-system interactions, integrations, and workflows, ensuring data accuracy, seamless communication, and end ‑ to ‑ end functional continuity.
  • Prepare operational reports, new support activities, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Act as an Operations Project Lead for small to medium initiatives, coordinating across cross ‑ functional teams.
  • Embrace modern operational practices such as automated monitoring, alerting, dashboards, observability frameworks, and CI/CD-based release processes.
  • Communicate effectively with end users, product owners, and IT teams to ensure clarity on issues, impacts, resolutions, and preventive measures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering , or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 7–12 years of hands ‑ on experience in Application Operations / Production Support, particularly supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET frameworks (3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5 / higher), and troubleshooting across these technologies.
  • Solid experience working with SQL Server, including proficiency in Stored Procedures, Cursors, Transactions, SQL Jobs, and debugging performance issues.
  • Experience with Reporting Services (SSRS) for monitoring, debugging, or operational support.
  • Exposure to Dynamics GP or Delphi is an advantage, especially for legacy system maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of web services (REST/SOAP), API troubleshooting, and integration flow analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration frameworks.
  • Ability to diagnose mismatches between business workflows and system behaviors and recommend operational workarounds or fixes.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem ‑ solving skills with the ability to resolve high ‑ impact production issues under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interact with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead operational tasks, initiatives, and small teams.
