Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Presales Architecture – responsible for the specification, design, cost, and proposal of solutions to meet formal client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including architecture design, development, quality assurance & testing, and deployment.
• Work along Project Manager / Scrum Master in forecasting & development of overall implementation project plan including delivery timeline & resource requirements
• Lead development teams and partners/vendors and authoring of technical design specifications, architecture diagrams, integration interface specifications as well as coding standards, etc.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to ensure solutions are aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Conduct technical reviews of code and development processes to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record of leading to revamp multiple existing software application into a consolidated software platform.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills in English. Cantonese & Mandarin.
• Strong cross team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, business analysts, and technical teams.
• Minimum 10-12 years of relevant IT experience with at least 5 years in designing and implementing large scale distributed applications.
• Prior early experience in system development with Java, C#, JavaScript or Python etc.
• Systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems
• interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods.
• Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration
• Hands on experience and knowledge in Microservices, Event Driven or Cloud Native; and container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), services, and API models (e.g. Swagger, OpenAPI); and different storage solutions (e.g. SQL database(s), NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.); and scalable networking technologies (e.g. Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g. REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
• Sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile, solution architecture certification(s) will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record of problem solving and analytical abilities and able to use own initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies, and be passionate in updated trend.
