Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Solar PV Designer, based in Dehradun. The role involves producing high-quality design drawings and documentation for residential solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and utility guidelines. Responsibilities include creating sales proposals, The role also requires staying updated on industry standards and conducting quality checks to maintain design accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Solar PV system design tools, basic knowledge of software such as Aurora
• Thorough understanding of AHJ regulations, building codes, fire codes, NEC, and utility requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform load analysis and power calculations.
• Attention to detail and proven experience in creating permit drawings, sales proposals, and as-built designs.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teams and liaise with clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in the solar design or renewable energy sector is a significant advantage.
