Work Arrangement: Hybrid Travel: Approximately 25-50% (based on project location and construction schedules)

What You'll Do

As the Solar Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of project execution while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
Project Management
Manage projects from pre-construction and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Monitor project costs and financial performance to ensure profitability and budget compliance.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients.
Coordination & Leadership
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, utility companies, clients, and internal teams.
Oversee procurement activities and monitor material deliveries to support construction schedules.
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
Support commissioning activities and ensure successful project turnover.
Construction Oversight
Conduct routine site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, applicable building codes, and company quality standards.

Manage Project Documentation Including

RFIs
Submittals
Change Orders
Project Schedules
Closeout Documentation

Qualifications

We're looking for professionals who possess:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)
3-7+ years of project management experience in:
Commercial Solar
Renewable Energy
Construction
Energy Services
Experience managing commercial, industrial, or public-sector solar PV projects preferred

Strong Understanding Of

Construction management
Scheduling
Budgeting
Contract administration
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
OSHA Certification and/or PMP Certification are a plus
