Job Opportunity: Software Reliability Engineer I ? Post Trade Systems Strict Eligibility Criteria ? Please Read Before Applying This role is with a leading global High-Frequency Trading (HFT) firm (client name cannot be disclosed). Candidates must be from Tier-1 institutes only (IITs, NITs, BITS, MIT). For candidates with less than 1 year of experience , a minimum 9.0 CGPA is mandatory. Only the following branches are eligible: Computer Science, Mathematics & Computing, and Information Technology . Applications not meeting the above criteria will not be considered . We are looking for a Software Reliability Engineer I to join our Post Trade Systems team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with global teams and supporting cutting-edge trading infrastructure. Responsibilities Support and maintain next-generation Post Trade systems. Collaborate with trade support and developers across multiple regions to resolve production issues. Lead and contribute to migration projects and automation of support activities. Diagnose and fix bugs on existing production platforms. Document production issues and interventions for knowledge-sharing. Support integration of new execution venues, trading products, and data vendors. Define certification criteria for system enhancements and ensure smooth testing/deployment. Partner with end users to understand requirements and provide technical expertise. Enhance system reliability by contributing to the design of self-healing support systems. Monitor and report system health, ensuring high availability and performance. Qualifications 3?8 years experience in a fast-paced global environment, with hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving production issues. Minimum 2 years? experience with enterprise applications using Java, Python, Linux shell scripting, and job schedulers (Java/Python expertise required). Strong experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases. Prior exposure to electronic trading systems and knowledge of financial instruments (equities, commodities, FX, crypto, futures, forwards, options, interest rates, credit) is a plus.
