About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer with expertise in Test Automation and strong Java fundamentals who is eager to grow into a Full Stack Java Engineer.

Initially, the candidate will focus on building a robust automation framework for the Warranty module, ensuring high-quality releases through scalable automated testing. As the candidate gains deeper domain knowledge, they will transition into a Full Stack role, contributing to backend development and system enhancements.

This role is ideal for automation engineers who want to expand into full stack development while maintaining strong testing expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 – Test Automation Focus

• Lead automation efforts for the Warranty module using Playwright and Java.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, and Gradle.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

Phase 2 – Full Stack Growth

• Transition into a Full Stack Java Engineer role.
• Develop and enhance backend services using Java.
• Support frontend integrations and contribute to application architecture.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Experience: 3–6 years of professional experience in software development or test automation
• Automation: Strong experience with Playwright for web automation
• Core Java: Excellent knowledge of Java, OOPs concepts, Collections, and Multithreading
• Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with TestNG and JUnit
• Build Tools: Experience using Gradle

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java Full Stack Development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
• Understanding of Microservices architecture

Experience

• Senior Associate Level
• 4+ years overall IT experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in testing/automation

Education

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
