Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust desktop applications using Python for Windows and Linux platforms. This role is critical to delivering high-performance software solutions that integrate seamlessly with hardware systems, supporting innovation in embedded, medical, and automation domains. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure code quality through rigorous testing, documentation, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable desktop applications using Python for Windows and Linux. - Lead or actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle?from concept and design to deployment and maintenance. - Collaborate with electronics, electrical, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration. - Review, refactor, and optimize code to meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. - Independently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues. - Prepare comprehensive software documentation, including UML diagrams, SRS, and DFDs. - Communicate project status, technical challenges, and risks clearly to stakeholders. Requirements: - Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech). - 3?6 years of software development experience, preferably in embedded systems, medical devices, or industrial automation. - Expertise in Python with strong knowledge of OOP, multithreading, and GUI frameworks (e.g., PyQt, Tkinter). - Familiarity with Embedded C and MicroPython is a strong advantage. - Proficient in version control systems (Git/SVN) and comfortable working in Linux environments. - Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative approaches. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Bonus Experience: - Prior experience in automotive, medical, industrial automation, or robotics software development. Requirements 3?6 years of software development experience, ideally in embedded , medical systems , or automation . Proficient in Python : OOP, multithreading, and GUI development (e.g., PyQt, Tkinter). Familiarity with Embedded C and MicroPython is a strong plus. Comfortable with version control systems (Git/SVN) and Linux environments. Strong grasp of SDLC methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative.
