Software Engineer - Power BI with paginated reports

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions. The role involves hands-on development of dashboards, reports, and data models, implementing advanced Power BI features like pagination, drill-through, bookmarks, and performance optimization. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, accurate, and actionable reporting solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports for enterprise reporting

• Build and maintain data models, semantic layers, and ETL pipelines
• Optimize DAX, Power Query, and SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure data governance compliance
• Use advanced Power BI features such as bookmarks, drill-through, tooltips, slicers, and dynamic visuals
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions
• Support integration with other BI tools, databases, and data warehouses
• Assist in automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines for BI deliverables
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Must-Have Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Power BI development
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and paginated reporting
• Advanced Power BI features: paginated reports, bookmarks, drill-through, tooltips, and dynamic dashboards
• Hands-on experience with SQL and ETL processes
• Experience implementing RLS, performance tuning, and large dataset optimization
• Python scripting for automation in BI workflows
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SSRS, Power BI Service, and enterprise-level reporting
• Knowledge of cloud BI platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or automated testing for BI solutions
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
