Software Engineer II - Backend Developer - PHP/Laravel Specialist

Position: Backend Developer? PHP Location: India (Hybrid) Overview As a Backend Developer (PHP), you will enhance online experiences for our huge user base. Utilizing your web application experience to build responsive experiences for our customers. You will be working on new projects as well as existing live projects as well. To be successful in securing this role, you?ll have at least 3+years of commercial experience, including substantial hands-on involvement in web application Design & Development. It requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Developers & Other stakeholders. Required Technical Skills 3-5 years of backend development experience with PHP 7.x/8.x Expert-level Laravel framework knowledge Advanced MySQL database development and performance tuning RESTful API architecture and Laravel Sanctum implementation Linux server administration (Ubuntu environment) Git workflow management and collaboration Automated testing with PHPUnit Preferred Technical Skills Redis implementation for caching and session management Apache web server and PHP-FPM optimization Custom Laravel Artisan command development Backend task automation and Cron Job management CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions Basic frontend integration with Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3 Azure DevOps platform experience (significant advantage) API documentation and testing with Postman Key Responsibilities Architect and develop robust backend systems using PHP/Laravel Design scalable RESTful APIs and microservices Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines Mentor junior developers on Laravel best practices Collaborate with frontend teams on API integration Personal And Business Attributes/Skills Strong results orientation Self-motivated team player with integrity and a great work ethic Ability to multitask in an effective and organized manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Accountable for commitments made and scheduled deliverables Education Bachelor?s/master?s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area Benefits Hybrid working arrangements (2/3 days in the office) Annual performance-related bonus 6x Flexi Anyday: knock 2.5 hours off your any day.
