What you will do for Sectona as Software Engineer (.NET) – Primary Responsibilities

·      Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON to create user-friendly user interface (UI) with Cross-browser compatibility

·      Build high quality mock-ups and design different prototypes.

·      Optimize our web application for maximum speed.

·      Work effectively in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams such as backend developers and other support functions.

·      Use .NET/related technologies, OOPs concepts etc. to build modular & loosely coupled applications/functions.

·      Drive the design and development of one or more components or applications in our product by establishing robust low-level design, good code practices and unit testing.

·      Demonstrate good knowledge of software engineering best practices such as: versioning and versioning control, software packaging and software release management.

·      Integrate third party products, understand the underlying platform of those products.

Skills, Education, and Experience you require

• B.Tech / B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA / MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc (Computer Science)
• 0–1 year of software development experience
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JSON
• Demonstrated passion for technology and learning
• Strong inclination toward good design, performance, and scalability
• Ability to follow a solution-oriented and systematic approach to software development

Must have skills (Hands on):

• C#.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core (Windows & Unix environments)
• Experience with Windows OS and IIS (Internet Information Services)
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with SOAP APIs
• Database knowledge: Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Frontend technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, DOM manipulation
• Experience with Visual Studio (2019/2022) and TFS (Team Foundation Services)

Nice to have skills :

• Understanding of Software Change & Release Management processes
• ASP.NET MVC
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Version control & collaboration tools: Git, SVN, Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence
• ORM tools: Entity Framework
• Cloud exposure: Microsoft Azure (DevOps, Active Directory, etc.) OR AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of C / C++
