To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for new a " Software Engineer"

Job purpose:

Expanding the team to support SoftPOS projects in Egypt, KSA, and the UAE. The current team is inadequate to handle the projects in 3 regions

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices following best practices for distributed systems.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across different environments.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Java development.
• Computer Science/IT/ MCA/ E&C degree
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using JSON and HTTP.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
