Main Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

Define and analyze user and system requirements for new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
Design and validate technical solutions, conduct feasibility studies, propose options to Product Management and users, and develop software following Amadeus engineering standards.
Model, design, and implement databases, and perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure the software meets Amadeus quality guidelines.
Support product validation activities, fine‑tune the solution during acceptance phases, and produce clear documentation for relevant teams.
Support users in production by debugging software in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR) issued by Product Management or Product Definition.

Requirements & Skills

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Experience as a Java Full Stack Developer (6–9 years) using Java/J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, Microservices, and MVC (Model‑View‑Controller) web applications and web services.
Front‑end knowledge including HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and JavaScript, along with familiarity with databases and SQL (e.g., Oracle).
Experience with development and collaboration tools, including Bitbucket for source control, WebLogic or similar web servers, and beneficial exposure to Gradle and Jenkins for CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery).
Understanding of Agile or SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework) development practices and the ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving abilities, with the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
