Job Title: Software Engineer

Years of Experience : 3-6 years

We’re looking for a curious and skilled Full-Stack Developer with experience in AI to help drive our next wave of innovation. You’ll work on end-to-end product development, integrate AI-driven features, and collaborate with experienced engineers and product teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, shipping high-quality code, and exploring new technologies that elevate the user experience.

As part of the department

You will be part of the Healthcare Business Unit within EG, a leading Nordic software company. Our team of approximately 70 employees, based in Mangalore, develops and maintains healthcare software solutions serving customers across Denmark and Norway. In this role, you will contribute to building modern full-stack applications and help integrate intelligent, AI-driven capabilities that enhance clinical workflows and patient experiences. The department works closely with clinicians, operations teams, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality healthcare platforms, with a strong focus on reliability, data security, and continuous improvement.

Your workday, your tasks and mandatory skill set (As prose and/or point form)

• Developing frontend and backend components using modern frameworks and best practices
• Designing and consuming REST APIs for efficient system integration
• Integrating AI/ML capabilities using pre-trained models, APIs, or lightweight custom workflows
• Writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code with proper testing and documentation
• Participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, sprint planning, and estimation
• Deploying and monitoring applications in cloud environments using containerization technologies
• Troubleshooting functional, performance, and security issues in production and pre-production environments
• Staying current with industry trends, especially related to frontend/backend development and applied AI
  
  

You are the ideal candidate if you (As prose and/or point form)

• 3–5 years of full-stack development experience
• Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework (e.g.Python, Java, .NET)
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integration patterns
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, tools, or APIs (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Understanding of security, data handling, and privacy best practices
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills
