Job Description

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Officer (SMO) to manage and grow our digital presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content, monitoring audience interactions, and supporting brand visibility through effective social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including posts, reels, stories, and short videos.
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams for campaigns, announcements, and promotional activities.
• Support digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Assist in planning and executing online and offline promotional activities.

Event & Outreach Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of events, campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
• Demonstrate event management skills or willingness to learn and take responsibility for event coordination.
• Be open to traveling for events, campaigns, and on-ground promotional activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing (preferred).
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current content trends.
• Basic knowledge of graphic or video tools such as Canva or Adobe tools is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak Telugu fluently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Willingness to support event management and travel when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in running social media campaigns and advertisements.
• Basic photography or videography skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
