Company Description Founded in 2010, Youth Organization in Defence of Animals (YODA) is a registered charity based in Mumbai dedicated to promoting harmonious human-animal co-existence. YODA provides crucial services, including medical aid for injured and abandoned animals, behavioral rehabilitation for traumatized animals, and shelter for homeless and elderly animals until they are ready for adoption or release. The organization is committed to reducing the stray population and preventing zoonotic diseases through vaccination and sterilization initiatives. YODA is also actively involved in education and awareness programs aimed at eliminating animal cruelty and fostering compassion. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager at YODA, located in Sanguem. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies to enhance engagement and grow YODA?s online presence. Key responsibilities include managing social media platforms, creating and scheduling engaging content, monitoring analytics to optimize performance, and responding to comments and messages. The role also involves staying updated on social media trends and collaborating with the team to plan campaigns in alignment with YODA?s mission. Qualifications Proven expertise in Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and related best practices Strong Communication and Writing skills to craft engaging and persuasive content Experience and creativity in developing and executing effective Content Strategies Knowledge of analytics tools to measure social media performance and make data-driven decisions Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools Passion for animal welfare and alignment with YODA?s mission Previous experience in a similar role or with non-profits is a plus
