Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Social Media Manager based in Srinagar. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms to support brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. The role involves managing day-to-day platform activity, responding to comments and messages in a professional tone, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The Social Media Manager will develop and execute social media campaigns, optimize posts for reach and performance, and coordinate with design, marketing, and product teams for content assets. Regular responsibilities include tracking key metrics, preparing performance reports, analyzing audience insights, and recommending improvements based on data. The role may also include monitoring trends, identifying new platform opportunities, and supporting broader digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including campaign planning, platform management, and performance tracking.
- Ability to develop and execute effective Content Strategy and create platform-appropriate content calendars.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences and platforms.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (e.g., SEO, paid social) is preferred.
- Proven experience managing brand or business accounts on major platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok or similar).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines on-site.
- Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
