Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As Social Media Manager, you own our organic social as an always-on cultural channel, not a posting task. You will shape daily narratives, build community pull, and turn every drop into a conversation that compounds demand. This is a 0 to 100 role that rewards people who bring intensity, make decisions, and build systems that scale, while staying deeply tuned into culture and our voice.

What You’ll Do

  • Own DROPZ’s organic social presence end to end, translating drop strategy, cultural moments, and brand voice into a consistent daily content system that keeps the audience warm between launches and loud during drops.
  • Build and run a platform specific content calendar, planning weekly themes, formats, and posting cadence, then executing scheduling, captions, hooks, and publishing with quality checks that protect tone and accuracy.
  • Drive day to day community growth by responding to comments and DMs, launching conversation prompts, and setting clear reply standards that feel human, fast, and on brand, while flagging sensitive issues for CX escalation.
  • Coordinate daily with creators, editors, and designers, writing tight briefs, aligning on references, managing approvals, and ensuring final assets land on time with the right aspect ratios, subtitles, and platform native edits.
  • Create lightweight content frameworks that make output repeatable, such as series templates, drop countdown structures, and community rituals that encourage saves, shares, and return visits without feeling spammy.
  • Track baseline performance across platforms, monitoring follower growth, engagement quality, retention signals, and traffic or clicks, then turning insights into weekly tweaks to topics, formats, and posting times.
  • Partner with Growth and Partnerships on campaign rollouts, supporting teasers, drop announcements, creator repost flows, and post drop recaps that extend the life of each launch and improve repeat attention.
  • Stay trend aware across culture, memes, platform shifts, and algorithm changes, then adapt execution with judgment, selecting trends that fit DROPZ instead of chasing everything that is currently loud.
  • Maintain a clean content pipeline, keeping briefs, drafts, approvals, asset links, and post logs organized so the team can review decisions, reuse what worked, and avoid repeated production mistakes.
  • Protect brand reputation by applying clear guardrails for tone, claims, and community moderation, documenting edge cases and building escalation playbooks for issues that can become public quickly.

Who You Are

  • You have 12 to 24 months of hands on experience running brand social accounts, owning calendars, publishing, and community workflows with real accountability for consistency and quality.
  • You write sharp captions and hooks that sound like DROPZ, adapting voice across platforms while keeping a single brand personality that audiences recognize instantly.
  • You are execution obsessed, comfortable planning a week and then shipping daily, making fast calls on what to post, how to frame it, and when to push back on content that misses the bar.
  • You understand platform native formats, including reels or shorts structure, story sequencing, threads or posts, and comment culture, and you adjust creative to fit behavior, not just aesthetics.
  • You are comfortable collaborating with creators and editors, giving clear feedback, managing approvals, and keeping production moving without chaos or last minute surprises.
  • You can read analytics without overcomplicating it, using simple tracking to spot patterns and make practical changes that improve engagement quality and repeat audience attention.
  • You communicate crisply with cross functional teams, aligning with CX on escalations and with Growth on launches, while keeping timelines and responsibilities unambiguous.
  • You are culturally tuned in, with strong taste and restraint, able to spot what is genuinely relevant for DROPZ versus what is just trending for everyone else.
  • You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, take ownership without waiting for permission, and invest for long term mutual rewards by building systems and culture, not just output.
  • You are a low friction collaborator, open to feedback, direct without drama, and consistent about raising issues early so the team can move fast without breaking trust.

What We Offer

  • High ownership work where your decisions shape DROPZ’s daily public voice, and your output directly impacts demand, loyalty, and drop momentum.
  • A build from 0 to 100 environment, where you will learn faster than structured companies because you will own real outcomes and grow by shipping, reviewing, and iterating weekly.
  • Creative freedom with structure, including space to test formats and series, paired with clear quality bars and feedback loops that help you level up quickly.
