Our platform simplifies the job search process for professionals by either automating or augmenting parts of the process, such as AI-driven resume and profile improvements, job application tracking, and management, among other things.
We are a US-based startup with a team based in Delhi, India. We have helped over 2 million+ individuals in optimizing their job search process through a combination of a web application and a Chrome browser extension. Along with our product, we also provide high-quality expert-led career services.
Additionally, we work with universities, higher education, non-profits, bootcamps, career coaches, etc., to provide them with a data-driven platform for the career success of their associated members.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy, content creation, and team management. You will be responsible for driving our brand's online presence, developing video content strategies, and creating video content with the help of creators & video editors to ensure consistent and engaging content delivery across all channels.
Note: This is a hybrid role with 3 WFO & 2 WFH days. Candidates with a background in paid marketing should not apply, as this role focuses on organic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of social media specialists, video editors, and content creators to execute the social media strategy effectively. Ensure the team meets daily content delivery goals, particularly in video content.
- Content Creation & Collaboration: Oversee the creation of high-quality content, working closely with content creators and designers. Ensure that the content resonates with our audience and meets platform-specific requirements.
- Video Content Strategy: Develop and refine a video content strategy that works across all platforms, focusing on daily video output that engages and grows our audience.
- Platform Management: Monitor and manage all social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, messaging, and engagement with our audience.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, providing regular reports on a weekly & monthly basis and insights to optimize future strategies.
- Social Media Trends & Tools: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools, ensuring the brand remains relevant and ahead of competitors.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ed-tech experience will be preferred.
- Proven experience in managing social media across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
- Strong background in social media strategy and video content strategy.
- Experience in managing a team and collaborating with content creators and video editors.
- Ability to develop creative and engaging content that aligns with brand messaging.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Understanding the US audience or market is a plus.
