Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Executive role based in Gurugram. The Social Media Executive will manage and grow Ostello’s presence across social platforms, including planning content calendars, publishing posts, and optimizing campaigns for engagement and reach. The role involves developing platform-specific strategies, monitoring trends, and creating compelling written and visual content that communicates Ostello’s brand and mission. The Social Media Executive will analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and adjust tactics based on insights from audience behavior and campaign results. Collaboration with marketing, design, and product teams will be essential to ensure consistent messaging and support broader brand and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing brand accounts and campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess media-related skills such as Media Planning to design and schedule effective social media initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
  • Experience using social media analytics tools, understanding platform algorithms, and applying data-driven insights is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with education or edtech sectors, and an interest in live and interactive learning, is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to evolving social media trends.
