Role Purpose:

The Social Media & Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility across all three verticals of our organisation.


This role owns the social media strategy and hands-on execution, ensuring that marketing activities translate into measurable performance outcomes.

Top Performance Objectives:

  1. Establish a Unified Social Strategy
  2. Audit all vertical social presence.
  3. Define positioning, content pillars, and publishing rhythm.
  4. Build structured content calendars across platforms.
  5. Scale Short-Form Video Impact
  6. Launch consistent short-form content cadence (Reels, Shorts, InShot-style videos).
  7. Increase short-form engagement metrics by ≥30%.
  8. Improve watch time and hook retention rates through weekly experimentation.
  9. Drive Measurable Audience Growth
  10. Achieve consistent month-on-month growth in followers and subscribers.
  11. Improve engagement rate to ≥20–25% (platform dependent).
  12. Increase inbound interest driven from social channels.
  13. Build Repeatable Marketing Systems
  14. Create documented workflows for content production and distribution.
  15. Identify AI and automation tools to improve output speed.
  16. Develop templates and reusable content formats.
  17. Support Cross-Vertical Campaign Execution
  18. Align with BD, Community, and Content teams for launches and partnerships.
  19. Convert long-form assets (podcasts, blogs, events) into high-performing social content.
  20. Ensure marketing efforts contribute to growth funnels.

  • Own and execute social media strategy across all XTechBuzz verticals.
  • Create and edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, InShot-style clips).
  • Develop hooks, captions, and storytelling frameworks.
  • Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized, engaging formats.
  • Monitor analytics and performance dashboards.
  • Run A/B tests on formats, messaging, and distribution timing.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Content, Growth, BD, and Community teams.
  • Document playbooks and systems for scale.
  • Contribute to broader marketing and brand strategy discussions.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–6 years of experience in Social Media, Content Marketing, or Growth Marketing
  • Proven experience managing and growing social channels
  • Strong hands-on experience with short-form video tools (InShot, CapCut, etc.)
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced scale-up environments
  • Understanding of performance marketing metrics
  • Experience working across multiple industries is a plus
