Site Reliability Engineer

SRE Engineer base：Gurugram

Job Requirements

1.At least 2 years of experience in big data platform operation and maintenance; familiar with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS/YARN/Hive/HBase) and Spark/Flink streaming and batch processing engines.

Proficient in at least one big data query engine such as Spark SQL or Presto, and able to resolve business SQL performance issues.

2.Experience in AI programming; able to use AI technologies to develop tools and improve O&M efficiency.

3.Service-oriented, capable of independently troubleshooting big data anomalies, with hands-on experience in fault diagnosis and performance tuning.

4.SRE experience and mindset is a plus; willing to take on SRE responsibilities.

5.Familiar with data center on-site safety regulations; experience in IT asset management and IT hardware operation and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

1.Responsible for change management, capacity management and fault management of underlying big data clusters (HDFS/YARN/Flink/HBase, etc.) to ensure platform stability.

2.Perform daily big data operation and maintenance: answer business queries, troubleshoot and resolve abnormal tasks, help business teams utilize data effectively; handle alerts, detect and resolve business exceptions in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery of data reports; proactively identify system bottlenecks, optimize cluster performance, resource utilization and cost.

3.Develop and maintain operation and maintenance documents, manuals and fault handling procedures.

4.Assist headquarters in computing resource procurement for the Indian subsidiary, including cabinet leasing, servers, network equipment, bandwidth and dedicated lines; coordinate vendors to ensure on-time and quality delivery, track and report progress, conduct acceptance and bill verification.

5.Assist headquarters in O&M management of computing resources, including deployment and delivery of cabinets, servers, network equipment and consumables; coordinate vendors to complete O&M tickets and meet availability targets.

6.Manage IDC computing and power assets in India: asset registration, inventory management, regular asset checks and asset scrapping.
