Site Engineer

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Sourcing of raw materials, store consumables and hiring of support equipment as per site requirement and company guideline.
• Selection of proper operation camp, mobilization and demobilization of man and machineries.
• Ensuring the proper inventory and optimum utilization of raw materials.
• Coordination with Quality Control Officer for assuring QC of materials and good workmanship.
• Coordination with client and third party for conducting tests as per the work agreement.
• Carrying out of finished work and to get the certification of measured work from client for billing purpose.
• Ensuring the submission of bills on time with coordination of Manager-Site Services & Application and Head-Business Development Manager (BDM).
• Keeping records of tests conducted for internal and external purpose.
• To report day to day progress and projection of work.
• Carry out tests on finished surface of pre and post application of Micro surfacing to monitor the life cycle span of this treatment and to differentiate the advantages of this technology with respect to other road maintenance technologies.
• Effectively coordinate with customers for any progress related and technical issues.
• Coordination with local authorities for ensuring smooth execution of the different projects.
• To act as bridge between customer and marketing/business development team.
• Day to day reporting of work progress and progress projection.
• Coordination with HR and accounts for personnel and site accounting issues with the assistance Manager-Site Services & Application and Head-BDM.
• On time submission of bills of executed work with assistance of Manager-Site Services & Application and Head-BDM.
• Assistance to Manager-Site Services & Application and Head-BDM for collection of payment on time.
• Ensure improvement of the different technologies involved in the Special Projects.
• Keep track of various road maintenance technologies.

Compensation Offered

Remuneration shall commensurate with experience & qualifications.

Desired profile of the candidate

The candidate should have minimum experience of two years in road construction and road maintenance. Candidates having experience in Micro Surfacing project execution will an added advantage.

Education Qualification

B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (full time) from reputed Institutions having consistently good academic record.

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for site planning, execution and billing of executed work. You will be responsible for assuring the optimum utilization of raw materials, proper maintenance of P&Ms, all statutory compliances like traffic, police and other related departments, coordination with clients, maintaining proper working environment by proper coordination with site staff and HO/ZOs etc.
