*Job Summary*

Hiring a *hands-on Site Engineer* to manage interior fit-out projects across Chennai. You will be responsible for on-site execution, quality control, labor management, and timely handover of residential & commercial interior projects.

*Key Responsibilities*

• *Site Execution*: Manage day-to-day site activities for interior projects – carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, and finishing works
• *Drawing Coordination*: Read and interpret GFC drawings, joinery details, and service layouts. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings
• *Quality & Timeline*: Monitor workmanship quality, check line-level-plumb, and ensure project milestones are met as per schedule
• *Labor & Vendor Management*: Supervise carpenters, masons, electricians, painters, and vendors. Manage daily labor attendance and productivity
• *Material Management*: Raise material indents, check material received at site, maintain stock register, and minimize wastage
• *Client Coordination*: Attend client meetings at site, update on progress, handle snag points, and coordinate for site inspections
• *Reporting*: Submit daily progress reports, site photos, and labor reports to Project Manager/HO
• *Billing Support*: Record site measurements, assist QS team with RA bills, and verify subcontractor bills before submission
  
  

*Required Skills & Qualifications*

• *Education*: Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• *Experience*: 3-5 years in interior fit-out, contracting, or construction sites. *Interior site experience preferred*
• *Technical*: Strong knowledge of interior materials, joinery, false ceiling, flooring, and MEP coordination
• *Software*: Basic AutoCAD for reading drawings, MS Excel for reports. MS Project knowledge is a plus
• *Skills*: Strong site supervision, team handling, problem-solving, and communication skills
• *Other*: Must be willing to travel to multiple sites across Chennai. Two-wheeler mandatory. Located near Keelkattalai preferred
