Civil Engineer – Site (Chemical Industry)

Experience: 8–10 Years

Industry: Chemical / Process Industry (Greenfield & Brownfield Projects)

Job Type: 1 Year Extendable Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute civil construction activities at site including foundations, RCC structures, underground utilities, roads, and drains.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site manpower to ensure work as per drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and E&I teams for interface management.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE guidelines, and statutory requirements applicable to chemical plants.
• Review and implement approved drawings, BOQs, and method statements.
• Monitor project schedules, material usage, measurements, and billing.
• Handle site inspections, progress reporting, and issue resolution during execution.
• Support commissioning readiness by ensuring civil works completion and punch point closure.

Key Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of site execution experience in chemical plants, refineries, or similar process industries.
• Strong knowledge of RCC, foundations for heavy equipment, industrial buildings, and underground works.
• Familiar with IS codes, safety practices, and contractor management.
• Good coordination, documentation, and site leadership skills.
