About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Shopify theme development, app integration, and customization, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional e-commerce experiences.

You will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to build, maintain, and optimize Shopify stores that drive growth and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Implement responsive, user-friendly, and accessible designs across devices.
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and custom APIs.
• Optimize store performance, including speed, SEO best practices, and UX/UI improvements.
• Manage product catalogs, metafields, and dynamic content updates.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate mockups into functional Shopify pages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, checkout processes, and integrations.
• Stay updated with Shopify Plus features, new APIs, and e-commerce trends.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience working as a Shopify Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL) and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Shopify themes (Dawn or custom-built themes).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced e-commerce functionality.
• Familiarity with headless Shopify setups (Next.js, React, or Hydrogen).
• Knowledge of payment gateways, shipping rules, and subscription apps.
• Prior experience integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, or third-party platforms.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
