Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Shopify Developer role based in Pune. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Shopify themes, building responsive and optimized eCommerce websites, and integrating third-party applications. Day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting, testing, and improving Shopify performance along with collaborating with designers and marketers to enhance user experience. The role also involves staying up to date with Shopify’s features, updates, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Shopify development, including building and customising themes and templates
• Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming language
• Experience with eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, and third-party app integrations
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design and responsive web design principles
• Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimisation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with tools like Git and familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative team and meet project deadlines
