Your Role

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and optimizing e-commerce storefronts on Shopify and Shopify Plus. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performing, and visually appealing online shopping experiences.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Implementing new features, integrations, and enhancements to improve store performance and user experience.
• Creating responsive and dynamic UI components tailored for mobile‑first e-commerce experiences.
• Optimizing store speed, SEO, accessibility, and conversion rate performance.
• Working with APIs, third‑party apps, and custom app development.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues across storefronts.
• Collaborating with design, marketing, and product teams to bring new ideas to life.
• Ensuring smooth deployment, version control, and adherence to development best practices.

Top 5 Technical Skills

• Shopify Liquid Development Expertise in Liquid templating language for customizing themes, layouts, and business logic.
• Front-End Development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6) Strong UI/UX implementation skills with responsive design principles.
• Shopify API & App Integrations Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, custom apps, and integrating payment, inventory, or marketing tools.
• Performance Optimization Knowledge of site speed improvements, image optimization, lazy loading, and best SEO practices.
• Version Control & Deployment (Git) Ability to manage code repositories, branches, and deployment pipelines for Shopify projects.
