Business Analyst

iSoftStone , Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to join our New York Team!

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Business Analyst with expertise in Trade Compliance and Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) . The ideal candidate will:

• Be responsible for supporting the compliance operations related to global trade.
• Focus on the efficient handling of import/export regulations, customs procedures, FTZ management, and tariff classifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business , Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Trade Compliance, with a focus on FTZ (foreign trade zone) management.
• Familiarity with U.S. Customs, Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Import Administration Regulations (ITAR).
• Hands-on experience with FTZ operations, including FTZ management systems, customs regulations, and recordkeeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and trade compliance software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Chinese (read, speak and write) is highly preferred for coordination with Chinese-speaking partners and vendors.
• Certified Export Specialist (CES) or other relevant trade compliance certifications .
• Customs broker license.

Primary Location Pay Range: $65,000 to $72,000/year.
