Shift In charge - Utility

We are looking for an experienced Utility Shift Incharge to manage and monitor all utility operations including H2, N2, Propane, LPG Gas Plants and associated systems. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production lines such as Continuous Galvalume Line (CGL), Cold Rolling Mill (CRM), and Color Coating Line (CCL).

• Ensure continuous and safe operation of Hydrogen (H2), Nitrogen (N2), Propane, and LPG gas plants.
• Maintain uninterrupted utility supply to CRM, CGL, and CCL lines.
• Monitor compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air dryers, and water treatment systems.
• Track gas pressure, purity levels, and consumption parameters.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for breakdown handling and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure statutory compliance and strict adherence to safety norms for gas handling systems.
• Maintain shift reports, utility consumption logs, and incident documentation.
• Lead and supervise shift technicians and operators.
• Focus on energy conservation and cost optimization.
  

• Strong knowledge of industrial gas systems and utility management.
• Experience supporting steel processing lines (CRM, CGL, CCL).
• Understanding of hazardous area safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in utility operations in steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
