Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Developer with strong hands-on experience in ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, and ITSM integrations. The role involves implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery (including Cloud Discovery) and ensuring accurate CMDB population and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, including ServiceNow Cloud Discovery
• Configure and maintain Discovery schedules, IP ranges, and MID Servers
• Develop and enforce Discovery governance processes, policies, and documentation
• Work with CI IRE rules, patterns, probes, and Discovery logs for troubleshooting and optimization
• Ensure accurate CMDB population, normalization, and reconciliation
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and data sources
• Collaborate with ITSM, ITOM, and infrastructure teams to support operational requirements
• Follow ITIL and ServiceNow best practices

Mandatory Skills

• ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, ITSM, Integrations
• Strong understanding of IP Subnets and network discovery concepts
• Experience with MID Server design and implementation
• Knowledge of Discovery patterns, probes, CI IRE rules, and debugging

Technical & Domain Experience

• 4+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery
• Experience with ServiceNow Cloud Discovery including:
• Cloud Storage
• Cloud Functions
• Cloud APIs
• Cloud Containers
• Experience documenting and maintaining Discovery governance frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow CSA or ITOM certifications
• ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes
