Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our authorised bike workshop operations in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the profit center, handling a team of 25 to 40 front office in shop floor service personnel, planning productivity, and ensuring excellent customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the profit center of the authorised bike workshop, ensuring optimal revenue and profitability.
  • Lead and handle a team of mechanics and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement productivity planning strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of organisation, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through effective customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Oversee mechanical maintenance and repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operations management strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or bike industry.
  • Strong skills in profit center management, team handling, productivity planning, and organisation.
  • Excellent customer relationship management (CRM) skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Mechanical maintenance and repair skills, with a strong understanding of bike mechanics.
  • Operations management skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
