We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Linux System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience managing Linux-based environments, who is eager to grow their skills in server administration, automation, and system security

Roles And Responsiblities

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
Perform routine maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
Monitor system performance, uptime, availability, and review security logs.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and server-side storage.
Configure web servers like Apache and NGINX, and manage databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Manage firewall and security tools, including iptables, SELinux, and fail2ban.
Automate tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
Ensure disaster recovery readiness and implement high-availability systems.
Troubleshoot incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks effectively.
Document all processes, configurations, changes, and incident reports.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to assist in deployments and system integrations.
Strong knowledge of network protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSH, FTP, SMTP.
Strong problem-solving skills with effective diagnostic and debugging techniques.
Proficiency in WHM and cPanel management at an advanced level.
Experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress and similar systems.
Cloud management experience, particularly with AWS (preferred).
