Senior Pega Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Pega Test Engineers with 5–6 years of experience in software testing, specifically on Pega applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and project stakeholders. Experience in test automation is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for Pega applications (functional, regression, integration)
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams
• Manage defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure quality deliverables
• Support test automation initiatives (good to have)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to Pega applications
• Solid understanding of:
• Pega PRPC / BPM concepts
• STLC & defect lifecycle
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Hands-on experience in:
• Functional and regression testing
• API testing (REST/SOAP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to coordinate with clients and cross-functional stakeholders effectively
• Experience in tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar test management tools

Good to Have

• Experience in test automation (Selenium, Java, TestNG, or similar frameworks)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Exposure to Pega testing tools / Pega certifications (CSA/CSSA)
• Experience working in distributed/onshore-offshore teams
