Department: Engineering / Design

We are looking for a skilled Structural Designer with experience in designing industrial silos and storage structures. The candidate will be responsible for preparing structural layouts, 2D and 3D models, and detailed fabrication drawings using advanced design software. The role requires strong technical knowledge of structural design principles and proficiency in CAD-based engineering tools.

• Design and develop structural layouts for silos, storage tanks, and supporting steel structures.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for fabrication and construction.
• Create GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for structural components.
• Perform design calculations and structural analysis for load-bearing capacity and stability.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Review and revise drawings based on project requirements and technical feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project files.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with the following software:

• SolidWorks – for 3D modeling and structural assemblies
• AutoCAD – for 2D drafting and technical drawings
• Tekla Structures / Inventor / CATIA / Creo (any equivalent 3D structural modelling software)
• Basic knowledge of structural analysis tools is an added advantage.

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in structural or industrial equipment design, preferably silo or storage structures.
• Strong understanding of steel structures, fabrication processes, and structural design principles.

• Structural design and detailing

• Knowledge of steel fabrication and industrial structures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams

• Experience in silo design, bulk material handling equipment, or industrial storage systems.
• Familiarity with IS codes or international structural standards.
