Senior Solution Architect – Systems, Data Center & Cloud Presales

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect – Systems, Data Center & Cloud Presales to drive enterprise infrastructure solutioning for global customers. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, consultative presales, customer engagement, and solution architecture across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales, OEM partners, and delivery teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions while supporting customers across US, EMEA, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and position end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
• Design solutions covering Compute, Storage, Virtualization, HCI, Backup, Disaster Recovery and Hybrid Cloud.
• Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Bills of Material (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW), and technical proposals.
• Own technical responses for RFP, RFI and RFQ submissions.
• Conduct solution presentations, architecture reviews, product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Work closely with OEMs including HPE, Dell Technologies, Cisco, Lenovo, NetApp, VMware, Nutanix and Microsoft.
• Collaborate with global sales and delivery teams across multiple time zones.
• Provide sizing, licensing, costing and solution optimization based on customer workloads.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies in Data Center, Hybrid Cloud and Infrastructure Modernization.

• Storage: Dell EMC, HPE Alletra/3PAR, NetApp, SAN/NAS, Storage Virtualization
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM
• HCI & VDI: Nutanix, VMware vSAN, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Migration
• Backup & DR: Veeam, Commvault or equivalent, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
• Architecture: Data Center Design, Capacity Planning, High Availability, Solution Sizing
  
  

Mandatory Experience

• 8+ years in Infrastructure Presales / Solution Architecture.
• Strong Global Presales experience supporting customers in US, EMEA and/or APAC.
• Experience with customer-facing technical presentations and executive discussions.
• Hands-on experience preparing HLD, LLD, BOM, SOW, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
