Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets our organization's evolving needs and supports critical business processes. This role is critical to our team's expansion and will play a key part in our upcoming projects, including AI integrations and advanced ServiceNow implementations

Beyond client work, you will also help grow our ServiceNow practice by maintaining key assets, conducting research, presenting to clients, and supporting business development activities, including crafting responses to RFPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable code using ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, and implement them as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all developed solutions and processes.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of all developed features and applications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for ServiceNow-related projects.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical ServiceNow operations.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to establish timelines, specifications, and budget
  • Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Design solutions for agreed system integration, create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other platform
  • Provide technical support and ticket resolution on complex incidents
  • Assist in creating Statements of Work (SOW) and ensure delivery of the SOW is in line with the scope of services

Required Professional Certification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience in the IT industry
  • 5+ year of experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and implementation
  • Certified ServiceNow Developer a must, with specific ITSM deployment experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CSM and custom application development
  • Experience with ServiceNow generative AI-powered capabilities and solutions
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail on each project.
  • Experience with other ITSM management platform implementations (HPSM, Remedy, Jira, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and web services (REST/SOAP)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders locally and within regional hubs
  • Have superior verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies like MID Server, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in the context of ITSM.
  • Previous experience in solution development, pre-sales, consulting and client facing roles
