Senior Software Engineer (Golang / Node.js)

About the Role We?re looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Golang and experience in building scalable web applications . You?ll play a key role in architecting and developing backend systems that power our SaaS platform, collaborating closely with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure software. If you love clean code , high throughput systems , and modern backend engineering , this role is for you. What You?ll Do Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services primarily in Golang . Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Contribute to microservice architecture design and distributed system scalability. Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver complete web application features (React.js, HTML, CSS). Work with Node.js for existing services and integrations where needed. Optimize MySQL queries, schema design, and database interactions. Participate in architecture discussions , code reviews , and mentorship within the team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with a focus on reliability and performance. What We?re Looking For 6?8 years of experience in web application or SaaS backend development . Strong hands-on experience with Golang (preferred primary backend language). Working knowledge of Node.js for existing or supporting services. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices , and web architecture . Proficiency in MySQL , React.js , HTML , CSS , and JavaScript . Experience in designing secure, scalable, and maintainable systems. Prior experience with PHP is a plus but not required. Bonus Points For Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and Linux environments . Exposure to Kafka , Cassandra , or other distributed technologies. Familiarity with socket programming and real-time communication . Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and Kubernetes .
