Job Purpose

We are seeking a Cloud Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms. The role focuses on AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu), and Linux-based systems, supporting modern cloud-native platforms through automation and declarative operations.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Build, operate, and maintain Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed) clusters and workloads.
• Implement and manage GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployments using tools like Flux.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
• Administer and optimize Linux systems for performance, reliability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management using version-controlled configurations.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot platform and application issues to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with application and security teams to support releases and production environments.
• Implement and manage cloud networking, IAM, security groups, and access controls.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.

What To Bring

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering roles.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Practical experience implementing GitOps using Flux, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or OpenTofu for infrastructure automation.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and communication skills.
• Experience with blue-green or canary deployments.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM policies, WAF, and compliance controls.
• Exposure to FinOps and cost optimization practices.
• Experience with multi-account AWS architectures.
• AWS certifications (Associate/Professional) are a plus.
