Job Description: Senior Site Engineer

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Position: Full-time

We are a leading real estate development firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Supervise and manage all day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring work proceeds according to the project plan and schedule.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce stringent quality control procedures. Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Quantity Survey & Estimation: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, estimate material requirements, and manage on-site inventory to prevent wastage and shortages.
• Contractor Management & Billing: Oversee the work of subcontractors, verify measurements of completed work, and certify contractor bills for timely payment processing.
• Technical Coordination: Interpret construction drawings and specifications, resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and the project management team.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed site records, including daily progress reports, safety logs, and material reconciliation reports.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize the latest version of AutoCAD to review drawings, make necessary on-site modifications, and ensure accurate execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. - Civil) from a reputed and recognized university is mandatory.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in site engineering and construction management.
• OR
• Proven experience in the successful completion of at least three end-to-end residential housing projects in the Mumbai region.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth experience in Quality Control (QC) and implementing quality assurance plans.
• Proficiency in Quantity Survey (QS), estimation, and material management.
• Demonstrable experience in contractor bill checking and certification.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of the latest version of AutoCAD.
• Attributes: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong understanding of local construction regulations and best practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
