SAP SD Technical Consultant (7+ Years)

Notice period -Immediate -15 days max.

Relevant -5 years.

Location -Chennai - Hybrid.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP development and interface integration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP SD processes, custom developments, and integration with external systems, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP SD custom enhancements (user exits, BAdIs, enhancements)
• Work on end-to-end SD processes including Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, and Pricing
• Develop and support interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SD processes and integrations
• Handle inbound/outbound interface monitoring and error handling
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and transport management practices

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of strong experience in SAP SD with ABAP development
• Hands-on experience in user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and reports
• Strong knowledge of SD modules (Order to Cash – OTC cycle)
• Experience in interface development (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, ALE, APIs)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in data migration and integration scenarios

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of OData, REST APIs, SAP Gateway
• Exposure to Fiori/UI5 backend development
• Experience with output forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
